Stats Covered: Acceleration - Acceleration is the most important stat for any ball carrier. Speed and Agility are considered after this Trucking & or Elusiveness - This is how ball carriers break tackles. Trucking will help bowl over defenders or elusiveness Carry - This help determines your runningback holding the ball and not fumbling. The worse the carrying the worse they hold the ball. (ex: Vick will run with the ball in one hand far from his body, yea check it out for yourself). This isnt the end all be all, some RBs with high carry ratings will still fumble. Catching - This is important because running is no longer the only thing the RB does. Madden has been a very fast aerial game for the past couple years and with formations with runningbacks split out alot and the glitchy screen passes, you need a good catching back somewhere on your team. At least 70 is pretty good. I considered route running as an option as 90 percent of linebackers can not play man coverage on a running back to begin with.

It has some of the best passing plays and ideas mixed in with a few good run plays. The quick audibles are awesome and the little intricacies inside every play and formation really put this one above the others. At the same time it is really simple so there is not alot to get lost in. The Bad: Could be a better run play book but the run plays are solid. They have the i form tight pair but not good plays out of it. Alot of the formations have about 2-4 good plays only which is a let down. Sometimes it may feel like you hit a wall but trust me all you need is here. How You Should Run This Playbook: Stick to the simple base plays. Run Mesh and make your opponent declare his defense by defending mesh. Make him setup to defend mesh everytime and then calculate how you will attack either with audibles or other plays. Don't forget to pound the rock but also...if you find something your opponent has a hard time stopping here; keep abusing it until they get it. EX: They can't stop HB Circle from Doubles on...pound that in their face and then once they start getting it audible back to the mesh and other plays that make this book annoying. Stay away from hurry up offense when you can hide your short yardage plays until you need them in crunch time. If you ride this book right it will reward you.
